Vibrant Lives.
I like to paint vibrant people walking around town, with the pulse of life in their step. They are ordinary people going about their daily lives and are doing their best, sometimes in trying circumstances.
The paintings are in bright, optimistic colours with clear, simple drawing.
I want my paintings to be hung people’s homes and remind them of the delights of going into town, having a coffee and mingling with other people.
I am from Grimsby in Northern England. I have been to various art schools and like to travel widely.
I have exhibited in London, Bradford and Scarborough and have a painting in the Bradford University Peace Studies Collection.
